Innovative Idea: Xaverius Ambon High School Will Open Coding Classes for Students

Ambon, 3 July 2024 – SMA Xaverius Ambon is ready to take a revolutionary step by designing a new educational program that focuses on technology skills. This idea was proposed by Leonard Ansis and Julianti Taihuttu, S.Pd.k, who served as Head of Administration and School Operator.

The aim of establishing this coding class is to prepare students to face the challenges of the modern digital world. With the development of information and communication technology, coding skills are becoming increasingly important. Xaverius Ambon High School believes that introducing coding classes from an early age will give students a competitive advantage.

Leonard Ansis, one of the initiators of this idea, said, “We see that many students have a great interest in technology, but lack access to learning coding skills at school. By opening coding classes, we hope to open up new opportunities for them to develop their potential and prepare for their future.”

Julianti Taihuttu, S.Pd.k added, “Coding classes will not only teach computer programming, but also build critical skills such as problem solving, logical thinking, and team collaboration. This will help students be better prepared to face the challenges of this digital era .”

Xaverius Ambon High School plans to launch a coding class program in the next school year. The program will be available to all interested students, regardless of background or previous level of expertise in technology. It is hoped that this initiative will be the first step towards education that is more inclusive and relevant to the demands of the times.

With the coding class at Xaverius Ambon High School, it is hoped that a young generation will emerge who will not only be able to keep up with technological developments, but also become innovators and leaders in the increasingly advanced digital era.
